Narrative:
In level cruise at FL350 approximately 50 mi west of fwa. Smoke and sparks came from first officer's window heat lead. Also a differential fault on #1 generator was indicated. We donned our oxygen masks and removed power to the window heat. The smoke and sparks subsided after power was removed. An emergency was declared and diverted to fwa. All of the checklists and procedures were completed. A safe landing was made. There wasn't any signs of smoke or fire at this time so we deplaned in the normal manner with fire trucks standing by.
