Narrative:
Flight from lax-pit. Held over den with other commercial traffic for 30 mins due to a wide band of thunderstorms 250 mi east. ATC was saturated (ZKC) and not accepting any eastbound traffic from ZDV. After 30 mins of holding, we decided a rerte well south of optimum track which increased our en route mileage and reduced our tailwinds. We declared min fuel and when it became apparent that we would land in pit with less than min fuel, we elected to divert to cmh.
