Narrative:
Aborted takeoff at 60 KTS due to takeoff warning horn sounding. All controls and switches in proper position. Unable to determine why horn sounded. Returned to gate. Lax demanded to know why we aborted immediately after the abort. A pilot is too seriously busy at this time to answer such a trivial and bureaucratic question as this. FAA towers should be instructed never to interfere in a critical phase of flight with such unnecessary questions which might severely compromise the safety of the flight.
