Narrative:
Level 11000 assigned, controller advised traffic 10.5 and climbing. At the same time TCASII TA 11 O'clock, 3 mi. TCASII RA climb message and vsi red band up 2000. I immediately pulled to 3000 FPM. Clear of traffic message at about 11600. I leveled 12000. Captain advised ATC, I pushed down to 11000 at about 1000 or 1500 FPM. ATC said proceed direct to ord when able and change frequency to next controller. No visual contact with traffic. TCASII seemed to work exactly as advertised.
