Narrative:
I was getting instruction in taildragger from CFI. At his request, we landed without power and slowly. We hit hard. The landing gear collapsed. Propeller, cowling, gear were damaged. Call to AOPA legal determined that a gear collapse is not a reportable incident.

Narrative: I WAS GETTING INSTRUCTION IN TAILDRAGGER FROM CFI. AT HIS REQUEST, WE LANDED WITHOUT PWR AND SLOWLY. WE HIT HARD. THE LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED. PROP, COWLING, GEAR WERE DAMAGED. CALL TO AOPA LEGAL DETERMINED THAT A GEAR COLLAPSE IS NOT A REPORTABLE INCIDENT.
