Narrative:
PF inbound aml 259 radial. We asked center our relation to course and were told on center when our CDI showed 2 degrees off-center to the left of course. Later, with the same 2 degrees off-center, the controller told us we were 7 mi right of course. This is a problem every time we fly into iad using the aml VOR. This VOR needs to be adjusted.
