Narrative:
TCASII RA with 300 ft climb for traffic. Received climb RA on TCASII, climbed to 16300 ft. Advised ATC and returned to altitude. No further problems. Conflict aircraft was VFR and given us as traffic 1000 ft above him. He continued climb to within 400 ft of our altitude approximately 1 1/2 mi which resulted in RA climb. We never obtained visual contact.

Title: AN IFR LGT CREW CLBED IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII COMMAND. THERE WAS A VFR INTRUDER IN THE AREA.
Narrative: TCASII RA WITH 300 FT CLB FOR TFC. RECEIVED CLB RA ON TCASII, CLBED TO 16300 FT. ADVISED ATC AND RETURNED TO ALT. NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. CONFLICT ACFT WAS VFR AND GIVEN US AS TFC 1000 FT ABOVE HIM. HE CONTINUED CLB TO WITHIN 400 FT OF OUR ALT APPROX 1 1/2 MI WHICH RESULTED IN RA CLB. WE NEVER OBTAINED VISUAL CONTACT.
