Narrative:

Departed home airport with min fuel to our destination, however, dispatch min fuel called for more fuel for tankering purposes. Upon arrival, missed 1 approach and proceeded to alternate -- normal approach and landing. Landing with less fuel than desired (legal) but wished we had looked at the release fuel more carefully. We just got very complacent about reading the release, and even though we departed with enough fuel, we could have used the extra fuel and margin of safety. Procedures were not used and fueler, agent and crew missed it.
