Narrative:
I was cleared to land on runway 9 at swf. An air carrier came overhead and descended in front of me for landing. I saw him, I don't think he saw me. When the tower realized the situation, I was instructed to break right, the jet was already in front of me. I did, however, break right to avoid wake turbulence. There was no evasive action necessary. I called the tower after landing for an explanation. They said there was a lack of communication between my approach and stewart tower. They said they were sorry!

Title: 2 ACFT CLRED TO LAND SAME RWY SAME TIME.
Narrative: I WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 9 AT SWF. AN ACR CAME OVERHEAD AND DSNDED IN FRONT OF ME FOR LNDG. I SAW HIM, I DON'T THINK HE SAW ME. WHEN THE TWR REALIZED THE SITUATION, I WAS INSTRUCTED TO BREAK R, THE JET WAS ALREADY IN FRONT OF ME. I DID, HOWEVER, BREAK R TO AVOID WAKE TURB. THERE WAS NO EVASIVE ACTION NECESSARY. I CALLED THE TWR AFTER LNDG FOR AN EXPLANATION. THEY SAID THERE WAS A LACK OF COM BTWN MY APCH AND STEWART TWR. THEY SAID THEY WERE SORRY!
