Narrative:
I departed pwk with a student to practice short field lndgs at C89. We had entered left downwind for runway 8, making the appropriate radio calls on CTAF, and saw a blue small aircraft 2 at our altitude. Since he was on the south side of the airport, it was not obvious that he intended to land there, as a r- hand pattern was not specified either in the airport facility directory or by indicators on the ground. We tried to raise him on 122.8, but he didn't answer. We turned final and landed on runway 8R -- the paved one. We pulled off the runway onto the grass strip to give the small aircraft 2 a clear shot at the runway. As we were taxiing back for another takeoff, the small aircraft 2, who we thought was going to land on the paved runway 8R, jogged over to 8L, the grass strip, and landed over us, which scared the hell out of me, if not necessarily the guy in the small aircraft 2. The wind at the time I would estimate to be 130 at 8 KTS. I had called FSS about sylvania several weeks before, since I had never been there before. If I had it to do over again, I would have taxied to the end of the paved runway rather than pull off to the grass, but, again, I thought I was doing the other guy a favor.

Title: AN INTRUDING SMA LANDED OVER THE TOP OF THE RPTING SMA AT AN UNCTLED ARPT.
