Narrative:
Misunderstood crossing altitude. Should have been bumby (40 DME) at 10000 ft, thought controller said genbe (23 DME) at 10000 ft. Also started a 360 degree turn in order not to break altitude restriction. Controller advised not to do this. We complied. To my knowledge there were no conflict at any time. Supplemental information from acn 224650. I advised the captain at 46 DME we were to cross bumby intersection at 10000 ft. Our altitude at that time was approximately 16000 ft.
