Narrative:
A rejected takeoff was made in san due to a false door warning light. I also thought I saw a second warning light other than for a door warning on the forward annunciator panel. We returned to gate and after conferring with the brake energy limits chart, which called for 1:12 cool-down plus flight control, my crew, and maintenance at the aircraft, we decided to leave after about 30 mins ground time due to the fact that the tires and brakes were warm but touchable. I was informed by chief pilot that the brake energy chart is not open to interpretation and must be adhered to, which I will do in future. We departed early because very little braking was used along with maximum reverse thrust. Rejected takeoff was initiated at 115 KTS. The energy chart is based on maximum braking and no reverse thrust.
