Narrative:
When I taxied in at fnt, a friend asked me if the lights on the aircraft were working -- he said they weren't on. I assumed that I had forgotten to turn them on. Although, after thinking about it, I distinctly recall turning on lights immediately after start-up at amn. Whether I flew from amn to fnt without position and beacon lights is a mystery to me. Tower said nothing, although they did ask for confirmation that I was off the runway (I know the taxi light was on). I need to make sure that the lighting part of the checklist is completed for every flight and I intend to add 'lights on' to my after-takeoff list.
