Narrative:
Takeoff runway 26R ont with prado 2 departure clearance. Left turn to pdz VOR resulted in 135 degree heading. Just after rollout, ont departure requested right turn 180 degree for climb. Within 30 seconds of rollout we received TCASII TA followed by immediate RA to descend. I followed command, first officer advised departure. We visually acquired target traffic (high wing, small aircraft sel aircraft) leveled at 5500 ft (approximately) traffic cleared over at approximately 6000 ft ATC advised 080 degree to intercept pdz 130 degree southeast of pdz, continue climb to 7000 ft. ATC advised they did not have traffic and would 'follow.' requested altitude of traffic; we saw 'level' at 6 O'clock as we climbed through 6000 ft.

Narrative: TKOF RWY 26R ONT WITH PRADO 2 DEP CLRNC. L TURN TO PDZ VOR RESULTED IN 135 DEG HDG. JUST AFTER ROLLOUT, ONT DEP REQUESTED R TURN 180 DEG FOR CLB. WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF ROLLOUT WE RECEIVED TCASII TA FOLLOWED BY IMMEDIATE RA TO DSND. I FOLLOWED COMMAND, FO ADVISED DEP. WE VISUALLY ACQUIRED TARGET TFC (HIGH WING, SMA SEL ACFT) LEVELED AT 5500 FT (APPROX) TFC CLRED OVER AT APPROX 6000 FT ATC ADVISED 080 DEG TO INTERCEPT PDZ 130 DEG SE OF PDZ, CONTINUE CLB TO 7000 FT. ATC ADVISED THEY DID NOT HAVE TFC AND WOULD 'FOLLOW.' REQUESTED ALT OF TFC; WE SAW 'LEVEL' AT 6 O'CLOCK AS WE CLBED THROUGH 6000 FT.
