Narrative:
During a CAT ii approach to 35R at okc, the autoplt was engaged with the first officer flying. Crossing the OM the captain switched from approach control to the tower. It was then the captain called out the aircraft was below the GS. The crew was working on the problem when the tower advised the crew of an altitude alert, which the crew confirmed. A missed approach was initiated, and another approach was made with no further problems with the aircraft.
