Narrative:
Flight bound to jfk from mco was uneventful until late in our descent. We noticed a 'door open' light and a 'left hand center entry' light on during our descent (widebody transport aircraft). No pressurization faults or any unusual noises or vibrations were felt. We checked the flight handbook and found nothing to deal with our present situation. Due to our close proximity to airport, we continued our approach and landed. After landing, flight attendants informed us that the left hand center door had opened and slide deployed. We stopped the aircraft and parked brakes. Captain directed me and 2 acm's to detach slide and secure door. After this was accomplished, we read checklists and secured #1 engine. After slide was removed from taxiway we taxied into our gate. I should also note that flight attendant said that after we landed passenger informed her that they saw a young passenger 'playing with door in-flight.' we suspect child pulled the emergency handle and when we landed, door opened and slide deployed.

Narrative: FLT BOUND TO JFK FROM MCO WAS UNEVENTFUL UNTIL LATE IN OUR DSCNT. WE NOTICED A 'DOOR OPEN' LIGHT AND A 'L HAND CTR ENTRY' LIGHT ON DURING OUR DSCNT (WDB ACFT). NO PRESSURIZATION FAULTS OR ANY UNUSUAL NOISES OR VIBRATIONS WERE FELT. WE CHKED THE FLT HANDBOOK AND FOUND NOTHING TO DEAL WITH OUR PRESENT SITUATION. DUE TO OUR CLOSE PROX TO ARPT, WE CONTINUED OUR APCH AND LANDED. AFTER LNDG, FLT ATTENDANTS INFORMED US THAT THE L HAND CTR DOOR HAD OPENED AND SLIDE DEPLOYED. WE STOPPED THE ACFT AND PARKED BRAKES. CAPT DIRECTED ME AND 2 ACM'S TO DETACH SLIDE AND SECURE DOOR. AFTER THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED, WE READ CHKLISTS AND SECURED #1 ENG. AFTER SLIDE WAS REMOVED FROM TXWY WE TAXIED INTO OUR GATE. I SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT FLT ATTENDANT SAID THAT AFTER WE LANDED PAX INFORMED HER THAT THEY SAW A YOUNG PAX 'PLAYING WITH DOOR INFLT.' WE SUSPECT CHILD PULLED THE EMER HANDLE AND WHEN WE LANDED, DOOR OPENED AND SLIDE DEPLOYED.
