Narrative:
While inbound to denver stapleton and being radar vectored in marginal VFR conditions (haze) for a visual to runway 17R, was given an ese heading to maintain 8000 ft (see diagram reverse side). While on a 150 degree heading was given 12 O'clock traffic being vectored for visual to parallel runway 17L. Visually acquired aircraft then lost contact as I was also trying to acquire runway visually. First officer flying responded to TCASII RA which commanded a descent. Descended to 7600 ft. Immediately conflict was visually resolved and climbed to 8000 ft and informed ATC level at 8000 ft.

Title: DURING A VISUAL APCH TO A PARALLEL RWY, FLC TOOK EVASIVE ACTION IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII RA RESULTING FROM ANOTHER ACFT'S CONVERGING COURSE TO THE OTHER PARALLEL RWY.
Narrative: WHILE INBOUND TO DENVER STAPLETON AND BEING RADAR VECTORED IN MARGINAL VFR CONDITIONS (HAZE) FOR A VISUAL TO RWY 17R, WAS GIVEN AN ESE HDG TO MAINTAIN 8000 FT (SEE DIAGRAM REVERSE SIDE). WHILE ON A 150 DEG HDG WAS GIVEN 12 O'CLOCK TFC BEING VECTORED FOR VISUAL TO PARALLEL RWY 17L. VISUALLY ACQUIRED ACFT THEN LOST CONTACT AS I WAS ALSO TRYING TO ACQUIRE RWY VISUALLY. FO FLYING RESPONDED TO TCASII RA WHICH COMMANDED A DSCNT. DSNDED TO 7600 FT. IMMEDIATELY CONFLICT WAS VISUALLY RESOLVED AND CLBED TO 8000 FT AND INFORMED ATC LEVEL AT 8000 FT.
