Narrative:

While on an instrument competency check/line check, having just completed the oral portions required, and getting ready to complete the flying portion, the FAA designated mechanical inspector found in the airworthiness directive log and airframe logbook 2 discrepancies: 2 airworthiness directives that I later learned had been complied with before the chkride. The airworthiness directives concerned had through an oversight not been entered in the books. They were, however, documented on work orders. Problem is, I might be violated for flying what the FAA inspector judged to be an unairworthy airplane.
