Narrative:
On final approach to stt was with tower and told to expect runway 10. There was no other traffic and on rollout I thought that it was unusually quiet on the radio, and that the tower forgot to clear me to land, however, when I contacted ground on the other radio, I was informed that they had been trying to contact me since I passed savannah. #1 radio found inoperative, however, when I departed as scheduled back to puerto rico, it was working again. We have had avionics problems with this aircraft before, as it is 'loaded' with avionics and the local avionics technicians are 'butchers.'
