Narrative:
First leg of trip flown by mr. A, PIC, and filed IFR in my name involved a problem with identify of bairn intersection off of vrb VOR with RNAV and location of this intersection caused our course and heading to stray. ATC notified us of the problem and then gave us headings to fly to return to course. Our RNAV finally started to work correctly and so we continued our trip to tuskegee, al. During the last leg of the trip (also filed IFR in my name with mr. A as PIC). Mr. A began to deviate from his assigned altitude any where from 300 to 600 ft off the altitude of 4000 ft. Let me preface the following comments that mr. A was the 'PIC' during the entire trip which was flight planned in my name. Mr. A is an instrument rated pilot with thousands of hours and his arrogant if not defiant behavior has made it difficult if not impossible as a flight instructor to get mr. A to correct for these altdevs before they became out of line. And after these deviations did become out of line, mr. A would argue with me and imply that he would return to his assigned altitude when he felt ready to. Note that during this time ATC was not receiving our transponder. Let it be known that I have no intention of ever flying with mr. A again. Mr. A's arrogant and defiant attitude may eventually result in mr. A's death and the death of others on board his aircraft.
