Narrative:

Aircraft departed on an IFR flight plan from runway 26R at grr. Shortly after liftoff, the cabin door popped open. Landing gear had not been retracted. Pilot advised ATC of need to return for landing to secure door. Aircraft was cleared to land on runway 26R, using right hand traffic. During turns to right, aircraft experienced considerable buffeting. Therefore, pilot elected to leave flaps retracted. Landing was normal for few seconds of rollout, when landing gear collapsed. Aircraft slid to stop on runway. There was no fire and there were no injuries. Door did not pop open until inflatable door seal was activated. Door had been properly secured prior to engine start. This is the first time door has opened in-flight. Cause of gear collapse is unknown at this time.

Title: DOOR POPS OPEN WHEN INFLATABLE DOOR SEAL ACTIVATED. ON RETURN LAND, GEAR COLLAPSES.

Narrative: ACFT DEPARTED ON AN IFR FLT PLAN FROM RWY 26R AT GRR. SHORTLY AFTER LIFTOFF, THE CABIN DOOR POPPED OPEN. LNDG GEAR HAD NOT BEEN RETRACTED. PLT ADVISED ATC OF NEED TO RETURN FOR LNDG TO SECURE DOOR. ACFT WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 26R, USING R HAND TFC. DURING TURNS TO R, ACFT EXPERIENCED CONSIDERABLE BUFFETING. THEREFORE, PLT ELECTED TO LEAVE FLAPS RETRACTED. LNDG WAS NORMAL FOR FEW SECONDS OF ROLLOUT, WHEN LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED. ACFT SLID TO STOP ON RWY. THERE WAS NO FIRE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. DOOR DID NOT POP OPEN UNTIL INFLATABLE DOOR SEAL WAS ACTIVATED. DOOR HAD BEEN PROPERLY SECURED PRIOR TO ENG START. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME DOOR HAS OPENED INFLT.
