Narrative:
I was flying along V-69 from pbf to eld when shv approach control informed me by radio that they had lost my transponder code. I immediately checked my transponder for proper code, and then checked both generators to find out that they were both off line. I tried to recycle them. This did not work. I asked shv approach for vectors to shv and turned off my master switch and began pulling the nonessential circuit breakers. I left on the #1 navigation and #1 communication. I reestablished radio communication with shv approach, and using my emergency checklist, began setting up for the runway 32 approach into shv. No further radio xmissions were made by me. I landed safely at shv using an ASR approach. The controllers did an excellent job, and I thank everyone involved.
