Narrative:
While at FL390 the left engine failed. We were unable to maintain altitude and descended 500 ft before we were cleared lower. The engine was restarted at a lower altitude and we continued to our destination.

Title: FLC OF CPR SMT JET ACFT DSNDED FROM ASSIGNED HIGH ALT DUE TO A TEMPORARY ENG LOSS.
Narrative: WHILE AT FL390 THE L ENG FAILED. WE WERE UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ALT AND DSNDED 500 FT BEFORE WE WERE CLRED LOWER. THE ENG WAS RESTARTED AT A LOWER ALT AND WE CONTINUED TO OUR DEST.
