Narrative:

Upon receipt of clearance to maintain 310 KTS for traffic and flow into pit, the captain refused to exceed 275 KTS for no reason except his own need to do it his way. After several speed clrncs by center were unsuccessful, ATC then rtes and slows other aircraft behind us to maintain separation. Flight conditions were: skies clear, air smooth, aircraft vmo-uvo 340 KTS - 84M. A further report to the company is being prepared.

Narrative: UPON RECEIPT OF CLRNC TO MAINTAIN 310 KTS FOR TFC AND FLOW INTO PIT, THE CAPT REFUSED TO EXCEED 275 KTS FOR NO REASON EXCEPT HIS OWN NEED TO DO IT HIS WAY.
