Narrative:
As I pulled aircraft into gate after landing in 30 KT winds and blowing snow, the aircraft lost traction on slippery ramp surface and WX-vaned. The forward fuselage left side grazed the padded bumper area with temperature probe tearing the padding. Traction was lost due to slippery ramp and high winds. All engines were running but brakes and nose steering and thrust reverse could not prevent premature contact with jetway padding. I felt appropriate precautions had been taken for taxi in existing conditions.

Title: AN ACR LGT SKIDDED INTO THE JETWAY TEARING THE PADDING AND DAMAGING THE ACFT'S TEMP PROBE. PROBABLY THE ACFT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOWED INTO THE GATE.
