Narrative:

Was on base for runway 27 as directed by ATC at pattern altitude when ATC told us of a plane, twin, that was on downwind for runway 27. I replied no traffic in sight, however the other plane saw us and at that time we saw them. We were at a 1 O'clock position to the other plane and very close. ATC then told us to turn east and told the other craft to turn base. I got upset because they could have been told to go east and us to continue base. Having to go to the bathroom bad, favoritism for the twin, not realizing the microphone button pressed, I said some dumb things that I shouldn't have -- I am sorry.
