Narrative:
West of bld at FL350, requested by abq ATC to climb to FL370. Shortly after level off, received TCASII TA followed shortly after by abq ATC request to turn immediately 20 degrees. Upon start of turn received TCASII RA descend, descend now. First officer flying closed throttles, descended rapidly while turning right 20 degrees. Leveled off at FL360. Conflict appeared to be flight eastbound at FL370. Approximately 1100 ft closing directly on. I reported at FL360 and asked if we were cleared back to FL370. Asked further if we were cleared back on course (J92) 'cleared as requested' by ATC.
