Narrative:
En route from ewr to sxm when we became aware of gross navigation errors on both omegas. Each omega gave different indications which were inconsistent with time and heading from last known position. WX radar picked up bda and confirmed our position east of intended track. Investigation revealed that a passenger had been operating a portable tv.

Title: OVER ATLANTIC OCEAN, NW OF BDA, LGT EXPERIENCES GROSS NAV ERRORS.
Narrative: ENRTE FROM EWR TO SXM WHEN WE BECAME AWARE OF GROSS NAV ERRORS ON BOTH OMEGAS. EACH OMEGA GAVE DIFFERENT INDICATIONS WHICH WERE INCONSISTENT WITH TIME AND HDG FROM LAST KNOWN POS. WX RADAR PICKED UP BDA AND CONFIRMED OUR POS E OF INTENDED TRACK. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT A PAX HAD BEEN OPERATING A PORTABLE TV.
