Narrative:
After starting takeoff roll at approximately 80 KTS we got a reverser indication on #2 engine. We aborted takeoff and cleared runway. We consulted odm for brake cooling time and exercised #2 reverser to see if we could duplicate problem. We were unable to. We attempted second takeoff and this time got #2 reverser indication at 110 KTS. Again, we aborted. We returned to gate and maintenance locked #2 reverser out. During this time, 2 tire fuse plugs blew and tires had to be changed. After maintenance cleared aircraft log, we departed for pdx without further problems. Supplemental information from acn 244083: aborted takeoff, cleared runway, checked brake cooling time in the odm (operation data manual). Advised to let brake cooling for 15 mins or until brake's temperature peaked. While we monitored brake temperature, ran #2 engine up. No reverser light indication. All engine parameters normal. Brakes peaked at 375 degrees. Initiated second takeoff about 30 mins after first try. Aborted at 110 KTS.

Title: WDB ABORTS TKOF TWICE DUE TO ENG REVERSER WARNING LIGHT.
Narrative: AFTER STARTING TKOF ROLL AT APPROX 80 KTS WE GOT A REVERSER INDICATION ON #2 ENG. WE ABORTED TKOF AND CLRED RWY. WE CONSULTED ODM FOR BRAKE COOLING TIME AND EXERCISED #2 REVERSER TO SEE IF WE COULD DUPLICATE PROB. WE WERE UNABLE TO. WE ATTEMPTED SECOND TKOF AND THIS TIME GOT #2 REVERSER INDICATION AT 110 KTS. AGAIN, WE ABORTED. WE RETURNED TO GATE AND MAINT LOCKED #2 REVERSER OUT. DURING THIS TIME, 2 TIRE FUSE PLUGS BLEW AND TIRES HAD TO BE CHANGED. AFTER MAINT CLRED ACFT LOG, WE DEPARTED FOR PDX WITHOUT FURTHER PROBS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 244083: ABORTED TKOF, CLRED RWY, CHKED BRAKE COOLING TIME IN THE ODM (OP DATA MANUAL). ADVISED TO LET BRAKE COOLING FOR 15 MINS OR UNTIL BRAKE'S TEMP PEAKED. WHILE WE MONITORED BRAKE TEMP, RAN #2 ENG UP. NO REVERSER LIGHT INDICATION. ALL ENG PARAMETERS NORMAL. BRAKES PEAKED AT 375 DEGS. INITIATED SECOND TKOF ABOUT 30 MINS AFTER FIRST TRY. ABORTED AT 110 KTS.
