Narrative:
On takeoff roll at approximately 110 KTS, the L-2 window became unlocked and opened. The takeoff was continued, and a landing was made at rdu. Returned to gate, had maintenance check window and a logbook entry was made. The aircraft log was released and a new dispatch was issued. The flight was flown to atlanta with no further problem. Action taken by crew: the first officer was flying and continued to fly, as the noise level on the flight deck was very high. Was unable to talk to the first officer or tower. Had to remove my telex headset and use the aircraft headset, which had a full ear cup, and a noise suppressor. Before radio was reestablished with tower, was unable to communicate with the first officer except by hand signals. All checklist items were completed by the captain and radio was handled by the captain as the first officer was flying. A landing was made at rdu.
