Narrative:
First officer flying aircraft for entire leg after very long day. Sign in at XA53L. One leg to lbb, WX delay from XB00L to XB45L, takeoff to return dfw, enter hold at sps due wind shear dfw. We had been holding correctly for 40 mins and I was involved with dispatch for possible divert when I noticed first officer had flown through fix inbound and had proceeded approximately 15 NM south out of holding pattern. Returned to pattern with no call from ATC. First officer had become disoriented after station passage and was establishing himself south vice north of station. Fatigue and no meals contributing factors.
