Narrative:
We were on our third aircraft swap of the day when we proceeded to new aircraft for our last leg. Maintenance was being performed on the aircraft as I did my preflight inspection per SOP. No defects were noted. Aircraft maintenance log was inspected and all work was found to be documented as complete. At some point during or after my preflight the cycle machine fairing on the lower inboard portion of the right wing was removed by maintenance, and not replaced prior to flight. The trip was flown uneventfully to our destination, and post-flight was performed at XA30 pm in poor lighting. The missing fairing was not noted. The crew picking up the aircraft the next morning also did not note the missing fairing until after flight, during their post-flight. Maintenance then replaced the fairing (original).
