Narrative:
In sum: an small aircraft pilot was flying 3 friends on a sight-seeing flight near slc. An observer on the ground reported him as being too low. Apparently the terrain is very irregular. The reporter would like the aeronautical charts to have more contour information available. He believes that the ground observer must have used binoculars to determine his n-number.
