Narrative:
At approximately 300 ft AGL on takeoff from sfo, a loud bang occurred and the right engine dropped to about 1.3 EPR (runway 1R). Climb was continued to 1100 ft AGL with a right circling pattern for sfo runway 28R. Sfo tower advised terrain to the east and traffic departing oak had us in sight and would maintain visual separation. Severe vibration developed just prior to touchdown and engine was shut down on rollout.
