Narrative:

Dfw tower had me #2 for 17R behind air carrier 1. Dfw approach had cleared me for a visual. Then the approach pulled me out of sequence on account of my speed with a heading of 100 degrees. Put air carrier 2 for landing. Approach asked me if I had air carrier 2 visual. I did, and told them yes. Approach then cleared me for the visual again, to keep air carrier 2 in sight. When I turned back to the landing pattern, air carrier 2 advised tower his TCASII went off. Tower then advised me to land (cleared). I believe if the controller had not pulled me out of sequence, this would have never happened. I followed the controller's directions. Air carrier 2 complained to approach control of the TCASII going off.
