Narrative:
During the takeoff roll on runway 4L the takeoff warning horn sounded just prior to or at V1. I called for the abort and the first officer aborted. After clearing the runway we investigated the problem. We discovered that the first officer added some nose up trim late in the takeoff roll which in turn put the elevator trim just out of the takeoff trim limits. The trim was reset and a brief runup indicated that the problem was resolved and the next takeoff went off without any problem.
