Narrative:
Upon landing on runway 23 at clt the right outboard main tire shed its outer layer of rubber (recap) resulting in damage to the gear door and the right inboard flap. There were no adverse effects noted from the cockpit. The tire did not deflate. The cockpit crew was unaware of the incident until advised by maintenance after parking at the gate.

Title: TIRE RUBBER CAP CAME OFF ONE MAIN TIRE ON AN MLG ACR ACFT DURING LNDG DAMAGING THE ACFT GEAR DOOR AND INBOARD FLAP.
Narrative: UPON LNDG ON RWY 23 AT CLT THE R OUTBOARD MAIN TIRE SHED ITS OUTER LAYER OF RUBBER (RECAP) RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE GEAR DOOR AND THE R INBOARD FLAP. THERE WERE NO ADVERSE EFFECTS NOTED FROM THE COCKPIT. THE TIRE DID NOT DEFLATE. THE COCKPIT CREW WAS UNAWARE OF THE INCIDENT UNTIL ADVISED BY MAINT AFTER PARKING AT THE GATE.
