Narrative:
I just started my small transport at FBO at the end of runway 31 in mhk. I did my runup and announced I will be departing runway 31 to the east, did a runup then entered runway, fired up and also called out traffic I was departing runway 31. As I was just rotating I noticed an small aircraft that had just touch-and-go on runway 3. He was approximately 50-60 ft above me as I rotated my airplane. I called out on radio that I would appreciate traffic reports in the future. They said that they had called on final. All I can gather is that they called prior to me turning on my radio. I would have appreciated a little cooperation if they heard me call both my intentions on the runway, they should have made another traffic report.
