Narrative:
While flying the flight plan route on the segment between bgr and quv on UG7, ATC claims that after bgr we were to proceed to sbd NDB. Our reply was that I never received such a clearance and did not read one back. Contributing factor: language barrier. In order to prevent a recurrence ATC should listen for readbacks. If they don't hear one try it again.
