Narrative:
Experienced fire warning, continuous on #1 engine. Declared emergency with ATC and asked for vector to nearest airport and immediate descent. The purpose of this report is to pass on to you the excellent teamwork demonstrated by ZDC, richmond facilities, and the ground equipment response at the richmond airport. Obviously, the input you have received in the past has had a positive effect on the rapid cooperative and successful response needed by us in these sits. Incidentally, it was an indication problem.
