Narrative:
Boarded aircraft for next segment. Unknown to us the aircraft had a hot oxygen mask microphone. It had been that way for approximately 1 1/4 hours before we boarded. Since it was 45 mins prior to departure, we ate our crew breakfast in cockpit. During our dining 2 off-color jokes were told and transmitted to all on 121.8 ground control. Discovered hot microphone in oxygen mask 20 mins later. Very embarrassed.
