Narrative:

Controller in tower cleared my aircraft to land on runway 27. No instructions to hold short of intersecting runway 1 was issued. Controller also cleared another aircraft to land on runway 1 and to hold short of 27 on rollout. In an effort to clear 27 as quickly as possible, I turned left onto runway 1 and then left again to taxiway, which was immediately to the left. The controller advised me not to turn onto runway 1 after I had already turned. She directed the landing aircraft to go around. I proceeded to ramp. No instructions to call tower or anyone else were issued. Landing aircraft was still fairly high above runway when told to go around (approximately 200-300 ft). Incident could have been prevented by controller issuing hold short of 1 instructions, or my continuing taxi to nearest taxiway past intersection.

Title: SMA TURNS ONTO ACTIVE INTERSECTING RWY AFTER LNDG. FORCES GAR.

Narrative: CTLR IN TWR CLRED MY ACFT TO LAND ON RWY 27. NO INSTRUCTIONS TO HOLD SHORT OF INTERSECTING RWY 1 WAS ISSUED. CTLR ALSO CLRED ANOTHER ACFT TO LAND ON RWY 1 AND TO HOLD SHORT OF 27 ON ROLLOUT. IN AN EFFORT TO CLR 27 AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, I TURNED L ONTO RWY 1 AND THEN L AGAIN TO TXWY, WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY TO THE L. THE CTLR ADVISED ME NOT TO TURN ONTO RWY 1 AFTER I HAD ALREADY TURNED. SHE DIRECTED THE LNDG ACFT TO GAR. I PROCEEDED TO RAMP. NO INSTRUCTIONS TO CALL TWR OR ANYONE ELSE WERE ISSUED. LNDG ACFT WAS STILL FAIRLY HIGH ABOVE RWY WHEN TOLD TO GAR (APPROX 200-300 FT). INCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY CTLR ISSUING HOLD SHORT OF 1 INSTRUCTIONS, OR MY CONTINUING TAXI TO NEAREST TXWY PAST INTXN.
