Narrative:

Elderly man had trouble breathing during cruise 25 mins out of den. Flight attendant called cockpit and gave us information on passenger. We declared a medical emergency and were given priority handling to den. WX at den VFR. Cockpit crew was being given an en route check from FAA air carrier inspector. We contacted dispatch and requested paramedics to meet the aircraft. PA announcement was made asking passenger if medical professional was onboard. Doctor was found and assisted passenger. Landing and taxi was normal. We switched to a closer gate. At shutdown, paramedics were not on jetway. Passenger and doctor apparently got up and went down jetway where paramedics met patient (passenger) in boarding area and treatment began.

Narrative: ELDERLY MAN HAD TROUBLE BREATHING DURING CRUISE 25 MINS OUT OF DEN. FLT ATTENDANT CALLED COCKPIT AND GAVE US INFO ON PAX. WE DECLARED A MEDICAL EMER AND WERE GIVEN PRIORITY HANDLING TO DEN. WX AT DEN VFR. COCKPIT CREW WAS BEING GIVEN AN ENRTE CHK FROM FAA ACR INSPECTOR. WE CONTACTED DISPATCH AND REQUESTED PARAMEDICS TO MEET THE ACFT. PA ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE ASKING PAX IF MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL WAS ONBOARD. DOCTOR WAS FOUND AND ASSISTED PAX. LNDG AND TAXI WAS NORMAL. WE SWITCHED TO A CLOSER GATE. AT SHUTDOWN, PARAMEDICS WERE NOT ON JETWAY. PAX AND DOCTOR APPARENTLY GOT UP AND WENT DOWN JETWAY WHERE PARAMEDICS MET PATIENT (PAX) IN BOARDING AREA AND TREATMENT BEGAN.
