Narrative:
Just before descent, flight attendant advised us a passenger had been smoking marijuana in a seat, not in the lavatory. No smoke detectors went off. She was told to stop. She did, then, according to the flight attendant, threw a bag of marijuana in the lavatory. The captain called dispatch and asked for guidance. Dispatch said to let it alone. We did. We never saw or smelled any marijuana.
