Narrative:

I had been using my checklist. My student in left seat attempted to lower gear. The selector switch was placed from up to the neutral position. I neglected to verify gear down and locked. The switch should have been in the down position! I became distracted and failed to extend the landing gear on an small aircraft sel. Little damage occurred to the airframe. The propeller must be replaced. I realize the gross error in my ways and will strive to never let this occur again. I landed on the center of the runway in bastrop, la. There were no injuries.
