Narrative:
Prior to pushback, everything was normal. During pushback the lead flight attendant came to the flight deck and advised us there was a fire in the main cabin. I advised the passenger to remain calm while we assessed the condition. I sent the so to the back and told the first officer to ask ATC to send the emergency equipment out. The so returned and told me the fire was out but the cabin was full of smoke. I decided to evacuate/evacuation the aircraft through the main entry door (1L) only. We had 60 passenger and 6 crew on board. The evacuate/evacuation was completed in a timely and orderly fashion. No one was injured. When the evacuate/evacuation was complete, I made sure all passenger were off and I went down the slide. On the ground the first officer directed people to go to the terminal which was about 200 ft away. Again, all people got off safely. After the airplane was inspected and released for flight we ferried the airplane to msp.
