Narrative:
2 aircraft on vectors for ILS approach to runway 34. First aircraft vectored across localizer for spacing. Second aircraft following descended to 2000 ft. First aircraft turned to intercept localizer and descended to 2000 ft. Second aircraft on vectors to localizer. First aircraft tag went into coast and was overlapped with another overflt. Controller's attention diverted for a moment. When looked again first aircraft reacquired on localizer and second aircraft speed had increased due to northeast wind at 50 KTS. Controller turned #2 aircraft but strong wind caused aircraft to drift southwest and separation was lost.

Title: SUPVR CTLR VECTORING ACFT FOR SPACING ON ILS HAD LTSS.
Narrative: 2 ACFT ON VECTORS FOR ILS APCH TO RWY 34. FIRST ACFT VECTORED ACROSS LOC FOR SPACING. SECOND ACFT FOLLOWING DSNDED TO 2000 FT. FIRST ACFT TURNED TO INTERCEPT LOC AND DSNDED TO 2000 FT. SECOND ACFT ON VECTORS TO LOC. FIRST ACFT TAG WENT INTO COAST AND WAS OVERLAPPED WITH ANOTHER OVERFLT. CTLR'S ATTN DIVERTED FOR A MOMENT. WHEN LOOKED AGAIN FIRST ACFT REACQUIRED ON LOC AND SECOND ACFT SPD HAD INCREASED DUE TO NE WIND AT 50 KTS. CTLR TURNED #2 ACFT BUT STRONG WIND CAUSED ACFT TO DRIFT SW AND SEPARATION WAS LOST.
