Narrative:

On coming in to land at ori, conditions were glaze ice with water on top. Wind was northeast at 10-15. I made a decision to land downwind to the southwest and uphill because the airport appeared sanded. On touchdown, I discovered it wasn't sanded and a go around was not an option. Attempting to maneuver for better traction, I lost control and slid into a berm.

Title: ATX LNDG ON GLAZE ICE RWY, LOST CTL, SLID INTO BERM.

Narrative: ON COMING IN TO LAND AT ORI, CONDITIONS WERE GLAZE ICE WITH WATER ON TOP. WIND WAS NE AT 10-15. I MADE A DECISION TO LAND DOWNWIND TO THE SW AND UPHILL BECAUSE THE ARPT APPEARED SANDED. ON TOUCHDOWN, I DISCOVERED IT WASN'T SANDED AND A GAR WAS NOT AN OPTION. ATTEMPTING TO MANEUVER FOR BETTER TRACTION, I LOST CTL AND SLID INTO A BERM.
