Narrative:
During the step-down into msp, the left hand transfer pump light illuminated. The QRH procedures were complied with, the light remained on, fuel pressure was within limitations. At this time we had approximately 450 pounds of fuel per side. I xfueled fuel into the left tank, approximately 50 pounds. The light remained on after the xflow. An emergency was declared with msp approach. Shortly before touchdown and deplaning, the mechanical irregularity was logged in the mmi.

Narrative: DURING THE STEP-DOWN INTO MSP, THE L HAND TRANSFER PUMP LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE QRH PROCS WERE COMPLIED WITH, THE LIGHT REMAINED ON, FUEL PRESSURE WAS WITHIN LIMITATIONS.
