Narrative:
Medium large transport X established on runway 28R ILS and cleared for the approach still at 6000 ft. Light transport Y was turned too early due to ARTS track overlap. The light transport Y was also at 6000 ft and 40 KTS faster. When the tags separated, the light transport Y was still at 6000 ft and faster behind the medium large transport X. They were 400 ft and 1 mi apart when corrective action was taken.
